Jaydi Zavala grew up in Redondo Beach, California, with a seasoned musician for a father and an eccentric actress for a mother. Surrounded by creativity from an early age, she developed a passion for writing music as a child. After receiving her first laptop at age 10, she began experimenting with GarageBand, laying the groundwork for her production style.

At 18, Jaydi moved to England to live with a boyfriend for six months. With him working a 9-to-5 job, she found herself with endless time alone—and used it to dive headfirst into producing full songs on his iPad. That stretch of isolation led to a breakthrough realization: she wanted to pursue music production seriously. She cut her trip short, returned home to Los Angeles, and began building her own home studio.

Jaydi’s music channels the energy of her coming-of-age years as a rebellious teen in Los Angeles, blending vivid storytelling with emotional honesty. Drawing from both past experiences and the chaos of new ones, she finds inspiration in the dramatic and the real. Influenced by artists like Gwen Stefani, The Neighbourhood, Lana Del Rey, and ’70s rock, Jaydi produces all of her music from her bedroom studio in Studio City, California.
